ActionAid does not send volunteers overseas, preferring to employ local people wherever possible. We work with local partner organisations at grassroots level.

Give Your Time and Talent

We often have opportunities for volunteers in Ireland. Volunteers can help us maximise our efficiency, achieve our aims and bring new skills, experience and perspectives to our work. At the same time we believe that volunteering can offer valuable training and work experience, as well as a chance to directly contribute to our work.

We are a small team in ActionAid Ireland, so if you have a background in marketing communications, direct marketing, PR and event management, website or online social networking and feel you could help us increase our impact by either taking on a small project or lending your expertise and knowledge, we would really love to hear from you so so if you are available please download our volunteer registration form here and email it to us at info@actionaid.ie.
